Cameron Highlands, Malaysia Trip (Day 2)

29th April 2017, Saturday

Rise and Shine!! I woke up as i heard some noises outside the room and saw Dap had came out to take her towel for shower...so i got up too and went for shower to prepare for the new day. Went to sit at the living room and watched tv while waiting for everyone getting ready. We got a blue sky and beautiful sun today....nice weather....Col and Deb ate their raw corn while we waited for the cab to arrive. Today, we were going to Cameron Valley to see the tea plantation. There were many tea plantations in Cameron and we had settled for Cameron Valley. We bought some pantries and tea when we arrived there...I bought chocolate tea to try....We went up to the 2nd level to eat our food...from there, we can see the whole plantation and there were a lot of flies....had to chase them away too.....The food wasn't tasty though...After breakfast, we decided to go for the safari jeep to drive through the tea plantation.

It costed RM$10 per pax and we got the whole jeep to our own. The ride was bumpy but we all had fun going up and down the plantation. The driver drove us up to the top of the plantation where he left us there for some time. There was a board on a short history of the plantation there too and was able to see the a nice view of the plantation from the top. The jeep driver also helped us to take photos on the jeep and mi as the driver...hahaa...Then he drove us down the plantation...bumpy ride too...Fun fun....

After that, we headed to Lavender Garden. There were heavy traffic today as it was a long weekend and everyone had come over for holidays. Qy went off to get tickets for us, it costed RM$8 per person for the entrance fee. There were many lavenders in the garden and they even had lavender ice cream...there were many other flowers on the 2nd level...however, it was quite crowded inside. I bought 3 tea eggs when we were leaving the garden. After that, we headed to an indian eating place (Restoran Rasejesa) as recommended by the taxi driver. I ordered nasi lemark and the chicken wing had to be ordered separately. It was nice.....the roti prata was not bad too...

After lunch, we headed to rose valley. We gave a miss to go in to see the roses, but Col was buying fresh corns from a stall outside....I bought a cup of boiled corns for RM$4...OMG!! it was soooo sweet!! i was so excited that i got Deb to try it too...Deb immediately asked to buy another cup for herself...hahaha....I also bought 3 or 4 fresh corns as it can be eaten uncooked....After we were done with the corns, we headed to Raaju's strawberry farm which was opposite the street of the hotel.  We bought one box of strawberries to try it out...and Qy and Deb went in to pick strawberries on their own...Col. Dap and me just sat in the canteen to wait for them...sat until almost fell asleep there...hohohoho.....After Qy and Deb came back from the picking, we went back to the hotel to rest.

We just sat in the living room to watch tv to pass the afternoon...but i was also snacking away...napped for a short time too. The sky started to turn dark dark too and thunder sound can be heard.....We continued watching the tv till 5 plus...then we headed out to Delicious & Happiness Kitchen for dinner. We ordered 4 dishes with white rice and the food tasted niceee.....first time tried 青龙菜....tasty and nicee too....I like the dinner here.....
